Transitional Kindergarten is designed for students who are in the transitional year between preschool and kindergarten.  TK promotes self-confidence and gives children another year to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and academically before entering kindergarten or first grade.

The TK curriculum includes mathematics, language arts and literacy, science and social studies, Jewish holidays, Alef-Bet and Hebrew reading, art and music, etc.  The curriculum follows the State Kindergarten standards across all the areas of study and is supported by learning centers which offer a variety of activities planned with the purpose of integrating learning objectives with the children's interests.

Children who complete TK continue on to kindergarten or first grade, depending on the child and the admission policy of the elementary school.
